Whilst away this last week I've been aware of the Airbag warning light glowing feebly and stays so for quite a time after ignition is shut off. Is this an early sign of the well reported Ducato display problems/failures, its on a March 2013 AT Mohawk. If so how long do Fiat honour their warranty mine will be 3 years old on 1st March so I am a bit concerned.

Is it just a faint glow? not illuminated. You could get the diagnostics checked to confirm if it is a report or not. There used to be issues with dampness on the wiring. Just a thought.

If I were you I'd take it to Fiat and get them to check it out a new instrument cluster is around £800 + fitting get it done before warranty runs out its a common problem as you will see in previous threads.

Yes, common problem, my van only has a Fiat 2 year warranty, your van is UK converted so will have a Fiat 2 year warranty with a 3rd year supported by the Fiat dealer network insurance backed, don't know how good the 3rd year is in regard to claims.
The only fix is a new instrument cluster at £890.
I need to get mine sorted as well, last week as well as dim lights the trip computer went haywire giving random readouts on average mpg.

Is the issue exacerbated when you turn the cruise control on?
If so, I would guess at the known dashboard fault. Our 2013 Savannah had this problem and had a new dash console fitted at around two years old. I believe the warranty is for three years on both habitation (damp ingress is longer) and mechanicals (with some obvious fair wear and tear exclusions) however I got this from somewhere in documentation (just found it again, page 56 in the 2013 Frontier Handbook) -

"Fiat provides a manufacturer’s warranty for the base vehicle (as supplied to Auto Trail) for a period of two years, with the third year warranty being covered by MB & G Insurance. For any issues with the base vehicle in the first two years please contact your local Fiat dealer, for any issues on base vehicle in the third year please refer to either your supplying dealer or MB & G Insurance."

"Your base vehicle warranty is subject to the terms and conditions contained in the respective chassis manufacturers' service literature and MB & G handbooks supplied with your vehicle. Your vehicle must be serviced in accordance with the chassis manufacturer's requirements."

Would get the wheels in motion soonest.

John.
Depends on where the converter is based, if the converter is based in Mainland Europe e.g. Hymer, Hobby, Adria etc., it will only have a 2 year pan European warranty regardless of being an official import or not as the base vehicle will have been supplied by Ford or Fiat to the converter in that country. All European car & van manufacturers only give a 2 year warranty, only on UK supplied vehicles is there a 3rd year which is supported by the dealer network and insurance backed it not a manufacturers warranty.

Clearly there is problem with x250 dashboards, the warranty period is irrelevant, contact Fiat / Peugeot citing sale of goods / consumer rights act. For something like a dashboard to fail within 6 years it clearly isn't of merchantable quality.

Ours is an early 2015 X290 and it's going into Fiat dealer on the 12th for a diagnostic check prior to, hopefully, an instrument cluster change.

And all years @lennyhb or do you know if they have cured the newer models?
I thought it was only the later x250's with the later dash on the Euro 5 & Euro 5+ engines & X290's don't know if it's been fixed, never had any problems with our 2008 x250.

Getting worried with what @Bartyfixedit & @MichelleRyall are saying.

Getting better month by month.
I a getting worried too. I have a brand new 250 so just waiting I suppose to the inevitable. Mind you I don't have - seem to have, the issues of the shadowing speedo like many others have. I cannot see very well do to position of steering wheel / height of seat, but no snags as have been reported. Looking forward to the MMM article this month on rectification.

View of the speedo is rubbish, slightly better with the Lockwood dial as KPH figures are in white, older X250 was fine, but that was RHD.

when do these warranties start ? do they start from the day you pick up your MH? or from the day that it rolled off the Fiat production line?

We have a 2010 x250 on which the ABS and airbag warning lights glow for a while.
Passed the last 2 MOTs without problem - March 2014 with an advisory "dash light defect suspect wiring fault"
and on the 2015 MOT the tester said he wasn't concerned about the lights.
As long as it continues to pass I see no need to replace anything.
