Can anyone tell me if there is a way to adjust the position of the mirror arm.
With the seat adjusted to a comfortable position, I find the bar between the drivers window & quarterlight is dead centre in the mirror.
Adjusting the glass does not help, so the arm needs to move rearwards as moving it forwards will cause the mirror to hit the wing when the door is opened. Exploded diagram might help.
The only other thing I can think of is maybe a shorter arm?

I am afraid you will probably have to move the seat forwards or backwards I have the interior blinds and this makes that section even wider and get in the way

Moving the seat forward is not an option, that's one of the main reasons for changing the 'van. Surely there must be a way of adjusting the spring pivot point?
I know on some vans the pivot is on a taper, you can slacken the bolts releasing the taper, move mirror to the new position & retighten the bolts.

why not ask around to see if anyone has a damaged mirror that you can try to adjust without ruining a good one with trial and error. short arm mirrors wont give a view past the bodywork

I know but neither is having the divider bar running down the middle of it.
