Never seen that before we have had a 2008, a 2014 & 2017 Ducato's.

My motorhome is based upon a 2015 Fiat and I have not seen anything like that on it. Looks very large. It may have been added by Globecar or a previous owner. Try asking the dealer you bought it from.

2015 could be either a X250.
Looks like it is stuck on the sprung loaded clip, as Peter says probably an after fit just stuck on.
