Despite treating it very very gently the two very flimsy plastic catches holding the monitor closed have now failed (2.5 years old) presently using self adhesive velcro strips to hold it closed. Not very successfully I may add. So two questions. This is a well known and common fault has anyone been able to source a spare catch unit? or managed a successful repair. Lots of 15.4 monitors on Ebay anyone gone this route and replaced their monitor and if so how straightforward is it. I have dismounted the monitor and what a cheap unbranded unit it is! Looking at manufacturing some sort of implants to replace the catches, but not easy the sliding bar would be impossible to replicate.
