Behind a M/Home today and noticed he/she had added a couple of those very bright L E D driving lights to the rear, to augment his/her reversing lights.

OEM reversing lights are fine for the road and most car parks. If you ever need to reverse into a small unlit pitch on a dark rainy night with taps, hookup posts, low branches and overhanging gutters, you may wish for something better.

How do you know how bright they are?

reasonable assumption I guess, but I presume they were not on while you were following them

AH! SEE" I presumed they were, because usually, when on a vehicle in the right possie, ie the front, they are, innet ay?
