Drivers Seat (1 Viewer)

Just a minor problem that is baffling me, I cannot get the drivers seat to swivel. I thought that it was maybe a fixed seat but looking under it, I can see the turntable but if you pull the lever it does not release. It's a transit cab, any ideas?

Does the passenger seat look the same and does it swivel?

Passenger seat is the same and does swivel, drivers seat has the release lever and the turntable with the centre bolt. So I assume should swivel.

Sometimes if not used for the a while the lubricating grease can harden and it may just need a bit of effort to move it for the first time.

Probably just stuck through not being used ... make sure the lever is fully retracted and give the seat a good push.

Check it's not being stopped by the steering wheel, hand brake, door pocket or rear seat.

Try moving the seat backwards/forwards BEFORE you try to swivel it. Mine only swivels when forward.

I didn't think you had realised Joy, but I won't tell anyone what I've seen for a small fee.

had same problem moved it back and fourth a few times to free it up and hey presto, swivel away.

Finally got the seat working, removed the seat then slackened off the large centre nut, removed the top plate and found a large plastic ring that was completely dry. Cleaned up and regreased put it all back together and it works perfectly.
