We have the XLF and we love it. It's absolutely massive and fits the van very well. It's well made.. Easy to erect (poor instructions) and very bright and airy. Two sides can open and the sleeping pod is nice and roomy too. We have slept four in it easily. If we are on our own we use the sleeping pod as a cycle garage.

I bought a small kyam awning, I think they are very flimsy,I wouldn't by another awning of that type, have a good look at them to see if its strong enough for your needs.

There are three pages of various awnings to ponder over, all with Funsters discount:thumb:

We have an outdoor revolution same size as mentioned, size wise its fine just can't be bothered putting it up to often.

Staying on a site in France last year a fellow Motorhomes had one of these that he used as an awning. http://tente.quechua.com/en/tent/r-9,a-31,sejour-base-seconds.html. I know its not the same as a drive away but thinking of getting one as we mainly use it for sitting in at night on our summer hols.
