I have just bought my fiirst van and knowing that it has not been used for nearly a year, I though I would empty water tank. I found the drain cock and turn it, but only a very small dribble..! The tank is full, so what could the problem be? I did open the taps but this didn't do anything!!

Many thanks for your time
Richard

Sounds like it needs an air vent, opening the taps wouldn't help, have you opened the filler cap .. ? If so then it may just be clogged up with dirt.. try rodding it or taking the tap off.

got to agree with Jim......but i dont think taking the filler cap off will help....you will still get a little water out even if it is vacuuming.
the drain tube goes under the van and over time it will get clogged with road debris.

figure out where it is underneath and give it a clean out.....should be ok then.:thumb:
