Had a bit of a brain wave today. Got really fed up of having loads of PC/Phone/Camera etc cables tangled up together in the drawer. We have recently bought ourselves a Kampa air awning and got loads of those grey plastic ties downs with it, so ...................

I use tie wraps to keep wires tidy :)

Living the dream.
I use those tie wraps from Dragons Den where you cut off whatever length you need and the rest of it is still usable. First lot came on a one metre roll, second time I bought them they were cut to length. The roll was better IMO.(y)

Ah but often you are plugging your device into a different socket (eg. house or van) where the socket is further away from where your device sits and you may need a longer cable. With your solution, once you untie the knot the rest of the cable unravels, whereas with my solution you just need to unthread the extra length you need and the rest is still nice and tidy. Same goes for cable ties. Anyway, I'm happy with my solution (even if the awning does fall down :LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL:).
