Dover site (1 Viewer)

I am trying to book an overnight site for Sat 31st July as our ferry is on the Sunday morning and so far I havent had any luck coz sites are all booked . Can anyone recommend a small site not far from Dover?

Were aiming to park on Marine Drive. I think the free parking hours are 6pm to 8am.

Not a site as such, but you might consider the Canterbury Park & Ride facility.
I believe it is about a 20 minute drive away from Dover.

If you're a member of the Camping and Caravanning Club the Temporary Holiday site at Hawkinge (open on that date) is a good standby for the ferry.

£5 for the night for a relatively quiet filed.

Most excellent experience for us was.. Junction 11 M2 !!
Toilets etc, well lit and about 15 other Mhomes parked with us .. Just pull in over the back of the bus / lorry park

If you are unlucky a wee man will come and collect a fiver from you.. But we have never seen him yet !

Do you mean M20 J11, turn off for Hythe? The M2 stops at J7 near Faversham, then becomes the A2 to Dover.

we always use the sea front, pay before 6 pm, its not much, parking man is around sharp at 8 am, was there thursday prior to good friday and tuesday after easter monday, about 8 vans, was like an aire, we sat outside and chatted,, go for it,,
the old bill drive past during the night,,:thumb::thumb:
