Hi newbie here, so be gentle.

I'm looking to replace a couple of door panels (3mm American oak mdf) in my van, can anybody help.

what is make model and year of your motorhome?
they tend to change wood finish every few years or so

If they are no longer available try contacting a local joiner.

My friend runs a joinery company and he quite regularly makes new doors to match existing ones (or close)

you would be better using 3mm faced ply as it tends to be stronger and lighter

Thanks for the replies, it's a 91 Kontiki, Andy is the ply easier to get a hold of? i work for a shopfitting firm that buys all kinds of board material but our suppliers dont use what i'm looking for and cant direct me to anyone who does!

Hi as already said Olearys have a large selection around £20 for a 7 x 4 ft sheet:thumb:If not you can cover / stick some seating material on your existing panels to match the interior :thumb:I did this on my self build - also did the cab roof lining to match :winky:
