Dometic rooflight (1 Viewer)

I have a dometic rooflight which has a handle for winding to open and shut it and then the handle sits in a reces.when I try and wind it shut the catches that lock it down are out of sync so I can fully close it anybody had this problem before?

Seems not, it maybe it's been forced at some time and the mechanism is bent.
They're not terribly complex things, if your competent at diy I would be tempted to try and repair or at least inspect yourself. Open fully and you should be able to see mechanism and check for damage
