I wish I had understood this problem when the engineer was here fixing the failed 230v heater. So water collecting into the drip tray is not running down the tube to the collecting box outside. It is running down the rear wall suggesting the pipe is not properly connected up top. I can blow and suck the tube freely from the outside so it is not blocked. The tray according to the exploded diagram is held by 2 screws which seem to be behind the lower fin assembly.
Has anyone had this lower assembly off? It seems to be held by 4 or 5 screws, if I release them does it come away cleanly, and has anyone examined the tray and it hose?

I thought I should add the exploded diagram. The part in question is 247 and 216, but I think 216 comes as part of 247
