Hello,

We have got a September 2007 Argos 748
Has anybody had a problem with heat from the grill melting the gas knobs, Burstner have told us they have never had a problem like this before, we are also struggling to get some replacement knobs, Burstner say it will take 4-5 weeks for them to be ordered, does anybody know a supplier for this type of spares

cant help with the knobs but some DOMESTIC ovens have this problem and the makers supply an aluminium plate which fits in the grill opening to act as a deflector......may be worth having as look at this remedy.:thumb:
