Our Fridge freezer has stopped working, we need to replace quickly or there will be no chilled wine or beer for our holiday next week. We need to find somewhere with a dometic 8555 in stock any help would be appreciated.

    Bumping this for emergency purposes.

No cool wine or beer is worse than a reversing camera packing up.

    Good luck.

I guess you have ruled out trying to get it repaired? You could trying ringing them directly and see if they can find one for you: http://www.dometic.co.uk/service/contact/
They are just up the road from you!

No but hubby phoned one and went through it. It's stopped working on gas, battery and electric, the burners working, the 110 working but there is no circulation due to leakage of ammonia diagnosed by crystallised yellow powder round the boiler tube.

Excuse my ignorance but would it not be possible to get in touch with a refrigeration engineer and get the pipe repaired and the unit re-gassed?

Not possible to re gas 3 way fridges, once the ammonia's gone the unit is kaput and very expensive.
