Does anyone know if it is possible to dim the blue lights on the top of the fridge panel. I thought they were meant to dim once they were set but hours glow a very bright blue, all night!!! any ideas other than sticking black tape over the lights so not lighting up van all night

I would contact Dometic assuming that is what you meant.

I just wondered if this was the norm for the lights to be bright all the time or if they should dim. If they should then I can try again and/or contact Dometic. Couldn't see anything relating to it in the instruction booklet. Isn't blue light meant to be a stimulant or something, maybe thats the idea!!!

Not nice and perhaps it's a known issue with your model, if not it will be if enough customers kick off at Dometic

What is your model number? have you googled it for known issues?

Thanks. Will have another look tomorrow & check model number then get in touch. It saves putting a light on when getting up in the night though!

Yes, until you get a definitive answer from Dometic, try use white masking tape, which will blank out most of the light, but still allow you to monitor the correct operation of the unit, by the dim glow of the blue lights. :)

At least you won't be disturbed by the nightly glow. ;)

    Cheers,

    Jock. :)
