Domectic N145 fridge freezer (1 Viewer)

We have a Domectic N145 fridge freezer 3 way power, on mains electric on 12 volt and on gas the heat exchanger works, on all 3 sources you can feel heat out of the top vent but I does not even get cool Has any body got any suggestions please even if to recommend a replacement

Good morning.

Is the Motorhome parked level or on a slope? If too much of a slope it can affect the fridge and stop it cooling.

Have you noticed any ammonia smells, check round back for any yellow staining, if either has occurred then you have lost the refrigerant and replacement is the only option.

Otherwise switch off and leave for 24 hours this has worked a couple of times when ours has done the same thing.

I think there is also some form of sensor fitted to the cooling fins inside that sometimes gets confused.

A search on this forum should bring up some information as it has been discussed before.

If you have it turned up high try turning it to a lower setting!

Sounds like the refrigerant is not circulating as said possibly a leak.

You won't have much luck with Dometic a N145 is a Thetford fridge.
