am planning a summer hol and want to go to Hereford to catch up with some ex army mates who live there (Guess what unit they served with)
However the CC and C&CC site are some way outside of the city. I called the CC site to be informed that dogs are banned on buses as one bit a passenger some time ago!!
So if I punch the driver on the nose does it mean that every male will also be banned.

It was only one of the bus operators at first so it must have been expanded to all operators. I would suggest contacting the County Council for clarification. I wonder if this 'ban'extends to Guide dogs?

Perhaps it's worth a phone call to see whether they would allow your dog on the bus if it was muzzled

There is a very good CL at Brampton golf club about 800 yards from Madley.
I believe the bus to Hereford will stop outside the site. There is a bar and café on site and there is electric to all pitches. The golf club has 9 holes.
You could always get your friends to visit as there is an excellent pub (the Red Lion) in Madley. I have seen people bringing small dogs onto buses. The local buses are run by Yeomans, so it's worth giving them a ring.

This has come up once or twice before on this and other forums. Yeomans buses allow only assistance dogs.
