Can anyone clarify the whether dogs are allowed to travel on London buses as we are hopping to visit London later in the year. Also the same is required for the Isle of Wight.

Ive seen lots of well behaved dogs on buses where I live (Outskirts of London) and a few in Central London. Just a tip though for central London during peak times you will have trouble getting a person on a bus or train let alone a dog. Cattle trucks is the correct terminology for South East Trains and buses during these times.

Thanks to all of you have replied so quickly. All of that is valuable information and means we should be able to visit London in October. You see we don't want to leave our dog, she has been to France twice without problems but I thought we may have problems in London.
