Does anyone know what octoberfest at Shell Island is like? (1 Viewer)

We re planning to go to Shell Island this weekend if the weather holds, we ve been there many times but have now found out that 'octoberfest' is on there. Has anyone been to it or been there while its on?

We dont want to be party-poopers but like going there for the peace and the views and know we can park away from it but it wont be quite the same if the waaahhaay lot are there.

I have no experience of octoberfest at shell island but know enough to say i doubt you will find peace and quiet there
It can get very rowdy at times.
But maybe it's big enough to accommodate all so maybe ok. Personally I'd try somewhere else

We usually manage to find a quiet corner even in school holidays but would be no good against loud music etc.
