I continue to be amazed by my ability to lose things in my van. I mean, it's not exactly an RV!

Today, while applying spray grease to the sliding side door that rarely gets opened, I spotted some stuff in a cavity behind the sink that Danbury kindly didn't bother to block off

1) the rubber bung from the sink thatBroken Link Removed :thumb:
2) a pack of 3x5" cards that I use for note taking

and...oh dear...

3) a half-used bag of muesli that I bought at some point in...

....er....

2010

I didn't even realize it had disappeared

Lost in space

A la recherche des chooses perdues.

Usually and most frequently, it's keys. And that is in spite of having specific key ring hooks next to the wardrobe.

After that, it is always the thing we need most urgently with no time to look for it. E.g. Check in docs at the ferry terminal, change at the peage.

But the worst was my mobile phone when we were at a camp at the top of the Todra Gorge in Morocco. Sue had borrowed it and thought she'd left it in one of the covered lounge areas next to the pool by the bar. We looked and checked everywhere but no joy. Ray, the organiser was making calls back to his base to get in touch with our banks (all the contacts and numbers were on my phone) and we were pretty desperate........

Until I found it in the dirty washing basket!
