    This site is good

    http://www.prix-carburants.gouv.fr

Select gazole and the region you're going to.
You can even put in the route you're taking and fill up at the cheapest place on the way.

    Just finished 7 weeks.

    Cheapest was Auchan at 1.17
Most expensive that I used was Intermarche at 1.28
Most frequently seen cheap was usually Eclerc and they were around 1.20/1.24

Autoroute prices seemed to be around 1.37

1,11 in 37, it is on my route(y).
You could normally find it 30c cheaper on poligonos than the autoroute price last couple of years.

Thanks one and all, so that's about 0.82p per liter? Compared to £1.16 here,,, about 30% cheaper,or £1.50 a gallon,,,

Nope, I was comparing the difference between France and the UK, if the difference in litres is 34p then the difference per gallon is 34p x 4.4545 so I thinks thats about £1.50

Super markets around here are 1.13€ per litre at the moment.
Just a note of warning though, although Carrefore, Leclerc and Super/Hyper U are usually okay, we have found that fuel from Intermarche seems to be of a poor quality and has given us problems on a number of occasions

The way I look at it. The difference of filling up at €1.33 a litre or
€1.11 per litre could be a 1 half decent bottle of wine or a bucket of gut rot .
