Also (I'm on a role here so don't stop me!!), I have recently learned that the major supermarkets are in a price war to get ethnic minority shoppers to buy from them and not local speciality shops.

This means that the large Supermarkets are stocking bulk items on specialist isles for vastly lower prices than similar products are being sold at on the traditional "Spices" isles in the same store:Angry:

I picked up a small tub of Rajah curry powder in Tesco on the spices isle (priced £2.49 for 250g) only to be told by a very helpful Tesco shop girl (i'm very grateful) That if I went onto the specialist World Food Isle, I could get the same product in 500g bags for £1.69

They don't advertise that do they!!!!!

I think Tesco and Asda are the main culprits but let me know if any other stores are getting up to the same tricks

Martin Lewis MoneySavingExpert.com sign up to his news letter, costs you nothing and can sav e you quite a lot. I noticed on one of the last E News letters a paragraph on supermarkets that had lots of items showing full price on ticket BUT scanned for just 1p yes 1p
So, if like us you shop at Tescos using the self scanner then its a piece of pi$$, got some time to kill, then take the list of ML and off you go............

Have a look at joining the NATIONAL TRUST FOR SCOTLAND. Particularly if you are a couple, and one of you are, shall we say, not in the first flush of youth. It will also handsomely pay if you are a single senior.

just needed a spare so I'm happy. not the same tyre as the one I bought. but this is what new vehicles from auto trail must go out on now as only take them off to fit alloys the tell me?

I'm not convinced they're honest about that, they're not camping tyres but commercial. I doubt Autotrail change the tyres that Fiat supply on base vehicles before conversion so someone is swapping them.
If they convert to alloys they'll take the good tyres off the steel rims to put on the new ones
