Just bought a used bike for €30.00. It's quite solid and I should get my money back when I sell it on before leaving Spain.

It's been 10 years since I rode a bike but it's true once you done it you never forget. Been for a bit of a ride today and my backside is now numb !

Greetings,

How about a free cup of coffee at Waitrose (or tea) on production of a free Waitrose card.
Oh, and if there isn't a cafe at the Waitrose, you can get a free drink from their deli counter.
The above offer does not apply to Waitrose shops on Motorways.

Regards

I'm a newbie
Went into Aldi yesterday. They are having a major clear out of stock and stores will be having market style displays outside with heavily discounted items. I bought several items (mainly tools) that had been reduced to £0.99p each from around the £4 - £5 mark.

Not sure if it's a regional thing or how long it's going on for but the Aldi I went into was in Knutsford, Cheshire.

Also (I'm on a role here so don't stop me!!::bigsmile:), I have recently learned that the major supermarkets are in a price war to get ethnic minority shoppers to buy from them and not local speciality shops.

This means that the large Supermarkets are stocking bulk items on specialist isles for vastly lower prices than similar products are being sold at on the traditional "Spices" isles in the same store:Angry:

I picked up a small tub of Rajah curry powder in Tesco on the spices isle (priced £2.49 for 250g) only to be told by a very helpful Tesco shop girl (i'm very grateful) That if I went onto the specialist World Food Isle, I could get the same product in 500g bags for £1.69:Eeek:

They don't advertise that do they!!!!!

I think Tesco and Asda are the main culprits but let me know if any other stores are getting up to the same tricks:Smile:
