Idly looking through what I could get with Tesco vouchers, when saw that DFDS now offer 3/1 rate on Dover-Dunkirk. Looked good, but browsing the reviews brought up this caveat that seemed worth sharing here:

"Beware! Read the T & C's very carefully. You can can only use this offer for cars. No vans, campers or trailers. Found this out to our cost. Now have a £90 token we cannot use!"

They do accept them on the Newcastle- Amsterdam route if you fancy a detour.

We had a token for a trip we couldn't make (can't remember now why...), did a bit of grovelling to customer services and after lots of 'well, we don't usually...' and 'our terms state...' they credited the value back to the clubcard account :thumb:
If the terms have changed and they really can't refund it, then they might be able to swap it for a tunnel token that you could use...
Hopefully, with lots of apologising and a serious charm offensive, common sense will prevail for you

    Good luck!

Same happened to us and Tesco took them back and credited our account.
