none work......

they give the impression of working due to the water content in the tank which has to be emptied....oh look, 4ltrs of water in the tank.... but that extracted water has simply been replaced by yet more moist air from outside via any ventilation.

flogging a dead horse and wasting electric unless the van is airtight.....and it never will be completely.

Ours works! ::bigsmile:

Without the dehumidifier on the dashboard, there will be 2 litres of water on the windscreen overnight.
With the dehumidifier, no condensation at all.

With six people on board, cooking, showering and breathing, the air inside will contain far more moisture than the external air.
The idea is to remove as much of the moisture as possible,rather than make the air perfectly dry.

Less useful in a van that isn't being used, of course, but ours is so effective that we are thinking of buying a second one.

agreed, i should have said ambient humidity.
which is what i meant by replacing dehumidified air with yet more moist air in a none sealer room.
