Dash Cam R300 And Gps (1 Viewer)

We have just used our new dash cam r300 from Jaws. It worked great, but how does the gps work? We had a cable in but no gps data was recorded. It kept flashing a picture of a globe and ! On the screen.

Any ideas how the gps works?

Did you stick the gps receiver on the screen and plug that in?

It isn't stuck to the screen just plugged in and lay it on the dash board by the window.

The GPS is not exactly sensitive and does need a good signal .. I have mine stuck on the top left hand corner of the windscreen.. When I forst got it I too just left it on the dash.. It seems to prefer being vertical to horizontal
