damp 2006 chausson warranty issue!!! (1 Viewer)

hi there every one this is my first post , basically looking for some advice to my problem. back ground first . had my flash or since new 56plate, i have NOT had a habitation check done since 2007, yes i know what an idiot, but there you go thats the bottom line. problem being that where the top bunk is at the back of the van it looks like a screw has come through the out side of the van up high and is leaking water in and now i have damp in the back panel of the van. the question is do i have a warrenty claim or not due to the hab checks not been done yearly, any advice greatly appreciated, ps its not the first time its happened it has been repaired previously on the side panel near the door for exactly the same problem in the first year i had it, thanks brian.

I would imagine that any claim would now be rejected unfortunately. If you are near us we could have a look and give you a quote.

If the screw was put ther during manufacture I woild say it is a fault that the van has had from new and try to claim from Chausson.

yes it certainly is from new.
