We have a dab one on our cab side window, about the size of a matchbox with 18 ins wires that come out each side and are stuck to the glass with what looks like clear sellotape. It works fine for us.

We also have this type but DAB is very patchy in our area when it works it's good otherwise still use FM.

We have an amplified aerial mounted on the roof and have only once (in a walled site by a mountain in North West Scotland) been unable to get a signal. Wasn't cheap - around £50-60 if I recall - but appears to have been worth it to us as we do not take a TV and so rely on radio more than many on here.
