I recently fitted a rear view camera and monitor to my van. Straight after doing so I noticed my DAB radio reception had gone extremely poor. On disconnecting the monitor the signal
came back.

The monitor was a cheap Chinese one, I took it back to try a different model and the Dab signal disappeared again. I knew it was the monitor because the camera was still powered when I turned the monitor off. I was near another trader who sold expensive monitors, I borrowed one and this one didn't reduce my DAB signal. Sometimes you get what you pay for!

So If you are suffering a poor DAB reception, its worth turning your rear view monitor off to see if it improves.

DAB radio's are fickle things, one of ours at home crackles when an led light in the lounge is turned on, moving it a couple of inches cures it. That is until a kitchen led is switched on!

yep.... many things effect DAB, leds drivers among them
A CE rated product should help, sometimes even these things have an RF output which upsets the DAB signal
