We had a fun evening today. Set off to Ceska scalice (camper contact 22509) only to have the road turn into a dirt track then peter out.. had the fun of doing a 13 point turn with a deep ditch drop each side.
Then off to Hradek Kralove (CC 6896)
Closed even though it was supposed to be year round open. No one there no phone answering.
First time ever camper contact hasn't worked for us but it could of course be down to one of many things beyobd their control.
So it was back to trusty Park4night which we have not used since we got escorted out of Holland by the police after using one of those spots!
However we had heard Czech republic is cool about wild camping so we came here. Leafy and lovely in a little wood off the road Hradek Kralove 38 Partyzanska.
Can anyone recommend any blogs we could read where people travelled through all the east Europe countries? There sure to be some excellent tips.
Also what is the Australian guy's name who calls his van the same as his motorhome funster name? He wrote a good one but can't recall name!
Much appreciated!

That's funny 22509 has a dozen reviews (german and dutch) nearly all good praising it's modern facilities. Could be a miss print on Coordinates did you use
N50,36444 E16,05944 ? That is off the app updated tonight. I'm interested because I am that way next Wednesday/Thursday.

@Glandwr they are indeed open; we heard back tonight by email but the road 308 is closed and we didn't want to do the long detour as it was getting dark. Don't go that way! Yeh the reviews are great. They do close end of this month though si I think you'll miss them
However do consider our spot from park4night.
One of the reviews from the other sites mentioned loose dogs in the woods. We can hear barking in the woods. Very Halloweeny!
Do you think they could be wild dogs? Our pooch is unconcerned though so we are not worried !

@chaser we have had hit and miss with park4night - understandably as it's based on single people's reports which could be out of date - but once that is understood it's a great standby.
Thanks @Feltwell tgats the one!
Does anyone know of any others who've travelled this way and recorded where they overnighted?.

Hi Jac Sprat.
I think it is our blog that you are looking for.
Check out our map of 2014 and 2015 which gives some details of some of the places we stayed in eastern europe.

When you click on the kangaroo icons it gives details of the places we stayed and you can also go to the blogs which are related to the location.

And thank you for your tip on the parking place in Brugge. We used it and had a great time there.
Safe travels and enjoy eastern Europe, Its one of our favorite places.
Cheers Ewout
