We have a few funsters that are also keen cyclists. Quite a few more have a pilgramge each year to the French mountains for Le Tour. I am sure if you put a cycling meet on the calendar at a site near some nice cycling you might get some takers, give it a go:thumb:

Well, I for one would be interested Poppy. I am about to purchase a new road bike this weekend . I have been riding again as a way of recovering from my running injury and staying fit for a marathon in 4 weeks. Maybe in the spring something could be arranged. I know there is a few cyclists, although they wont get far on electric bikes

Trying desperately to make my mind up regarding a Chris Boardman Hybrid, or a full on focused road racer.

well for me, it's road riding. Im entering a triathalon in May so trying to get in to knocking up the road miles. I like trail riding on my current bike but alas, I need to get 60-80 mile bike stints done.

I have been out on a Boardman, very impressed, don't think you will be disappointed with it, I have both a a hybrid and road bike, I will use the hybrid most for comfort and gear change.

spring sound good will try to arrange something:thumb:
