Anybody who cycles will know that they are a variable quality, here in the Czech Republic there are some very good ones.
This one goes all the way (10 miles) into Passau, OK it get a bit busier in the town but all off he roads.
All the blue is a cycle track joining ours from the other side.
Not sure that this one is an official European approved cycle lane design, at least the train only runs every 30 minutes, one each way 5 minutes apart then "go for it".
