This morning mom called me outside to hear my first cuckoo this year.:BigGrin:

we've heard a few here too, in the Dordogne, going mental they were.
Fed up with hearing the cuckoo now :Sad: he cuckoo's nearly all day:shout: nahhh its nice though really:BigGrin:
How lovely, Amanda. You are so lucky... not heard any yet.
I have 2 lovely blackbird families though (one family were killed by a magpie), and they sing beautifully. Lots of greenfinch (one family in my box which I am not sure what they are), lots of sparrows, a cheeky squirrel, an even cheekier garden mouse which lives in a burrow under my lavender, several pigeons who are lazy and wait for me to feed them every morning.
