There used to be a back way in to the tunnel that brought you out beside the pet passport control office, we tried to use it last year when the blockade was on but the authorities had placed concrete slabs across it. We took to the A16 although we could see it was chocker with parked lorries but there was enough room to get by and into the terminal for non commercial traffic. Looks like that won't be happening tomorrow though :(

Does anyone know if the blockade will stop exit from the eurotunnel terminal or is it traffic coming into the terminal?

It's France's problem.. not ours..

they let them over their borders .. let them sort it out ..

From a few things that have been said over the last couple of weeks by French Politicians , it's plain they seem to think it's the UKs problem;)

Should have been nipped in the bud...totally out of hand now.....this is not a French or UK problem..UN should be taking control of the whole situation thats affecting Europe.

Agree totally. They should not be allowed into Europe in the first place - this problem started when the first one was taken onto Lampadusa (sp?) and given a blanket. Tell the Italians not to fish them out of the Med but dump them in shallow African waters whence they came.

Has no=one learned anything from Dale Farm, Basildon?-

What amazes me is that that come all the way through France from the south all the way through France and no one stops them till they get to Calais sound familiar last time it was the beaches of Dunkirk
Suppose the Brits will end up getting France back for the French agaim

Managed to get an earlier train than booked, so pleased to say we're back in the UK and have avoided tomorrow's predicted chaos.

Should have been on 07:50 tomorrow. Managed to get 22:45 tonight (21:45 UK).
Bonus.

So did you see any trouble on your way to the tunnel?

No trouble at all. Arrived at Eurotunnel at 7pm. Believe the protests start at 7am.
We are now on the M25 en route to Chester
