We've had a few lovely petit dejeuner in one of the bars at the harbour.

A great day today, doing nothing except eating, drinking and relaxing.
After tea in bed and a 'proper' English breakfast, we settled down under our awning for a lazy morning, just looking at the sea and enjoying the refreshing breeze.

We strolled along the seafront for a leisurely lunch of grilled fish and a farmers salad, washed down with some lovely white wine.

After a little siesta I fancied a swim in the sea to cool off - the sea was a little cooler than I expected

This evening we had a wonderful dinner.
We shared a platter of grilled cuttlefish

And a seafood risotto

The food so far has been great - not gourmet, but very tasty 'home style' fresh tasting and served piping hot. What more could you ask for ?

Tomorrow we leave Vrsar and head inland, in search of one of natures natural wonders.

I am bringing some Euros and was hoping to get everything else with a card or change it at the hole in the wall.

You can easily change Euro for local currency here. Euro card has been accepted.
To get here from Italy you have to come via Slovenia, which requires a Vignette which you can buy at the border too. Don't buy fuel at the last service station in Italy just before crossing - it's a lot cheaper here.

I feel another trip to Croatia is on the cards for us.

To get here from Italy you have to come via Slovenia, which requires a Vignette which you can buy at the border too.

If over the magic 3500Kgs, you have to pay tolls, (well, supposed to )

There is a toll avoidance route if visiting Istria. It starts behind the first filling station after crossing the border, just before the Slovenian toll motorway entrance. We used it on the way down from Trieste.
