Doe's any anyone know the size of the "star" bit, needed to take the Flame Spreader off the top of one of the burners on a CREMAR HOB ?

Also? If I drill the little buggers out:Doh: Will the Burner work "unsecured"?

Your advice is eagerly sought!:thumb:

Having been cooked !! they will be hardened, not easy to drill, use a new bit and have a bit of patience (have a spare drill bit handy). Domestic cooker spreaders just sit on the top so I should think it will burn ok obviously when you have been on the move check they are reseated before use. Good luck
