John, drop off at any car shop and buy an in-line power filter. You just fit in into the radio main power supply line. It sounds that you may have a diode going down in your alternator, which can cause an interference crackle, that goes faster as you rev up.

So mask the fault in the alternator..... or cure it !!!!
