A French lorry driver has decided he did not like my Hymer B504 2011 passenger Hang Down Mirror and came too close and cracked the bottom mirror.
I can still see behind with no problems through the cracks but my predicament is, should I claim off the insurance, £250 excess or would it be cheaper just to have one fitted.
My dashboard camera shows without doubt that it was not my fault but I doubt the number plate is clear enough as I could only follow the lorry as far as I dared without being able to see any vehicles on my left.
Any ideas of price would be very welcome.

That was quick Jim. Thanks for the information. I am hoping to Skype a Hymer dealer in Somerset before I talk to the insurance people tomorrow.
Might be the best way just to pay when I get home. Much appreciated.

Thanks for your help. Will see how it goes tomorrow. I have someone in the insurance business trying to clarify the registration number for me, so will have to wait and see.
