Tehidy holiday park Cornwall, Caravan and Camping, Cottages, Cornwall

I have been on this site for over 3 months and would highly recommend it, but there are no pets allowed as it's in a nature reserve..... however the owners have just bought a dog and walk it around the site so maybe they are coming around to the idea.........you would have to ask.

It's 1.5 miles from the porthleven & perranporth beaches (40 mins walk through beautiful Tehidy Country park)

The site has just been awarded gold status by the David Bellemy trust :winky:

Great if you like nature. :thumb:

Are you members of the caravan club? If so, we went for the first time at Easter.

Trewthett Farm has fab views - a very knackering walk down and then up a very picturesque cliff side and eventually get to Tintagel. There is a small cove that is accessible- didn't actually get there as took time to recover from walk:Eeek:. Bus stop at end of lane which gets you to Boscastle.

The other site was Godrevy, CC again, 10 min walk out of site to a fab flat and very long surfer beach. Cheapish cafe nearby. Had a great atmosphere.

Hope this helps. also have you access to the Seaview sites book - may find something in there.

regards

Karen

ccc have a holiday ralie at hendra starting 18th june
Hendra Holiday Park, Newquay, Cornwall. Holiday caravan park.

Yes but the problem is it's in Newquay (little Blackpool) and about 3 miles from the beaches..............thats if you can get on it for ****heads throwing bearbottles and tramps drinking turps dude.

Newquay isn't a family place anymore, its just full of stag & hen nights with rough bars and stripclubs.........like I said........little Blackpool.

I lived there for 5yrs and couldn't wait to leave.

Just last week, we stayed 3 nights at Carlyon Bay Camping & Caravanning site close to St Austell. 10 min walk across golf course to cliff edge and beach, bus stop at end of road takes you to St Austell, Heligan etc. Long walk or 15 min bike ride to Eden Project.
The site is excellent with some hardstandings hook ups mh dump, v good toilets and showers and 3 pools 1 is paddling, 1 is heated the other is not.
£20 a night about £12 if you use Camping Cheque off peak.
We are going back in july.
good luck
