Rather most don't understand how people can be rude enough to not return a wave.
It's not rude to fail to return a wave. There are a million reasons why they don't such as folk like myself with serious mental health problems.

IMHO, it's worse to judge somebody without knowing, than failing to return a wave.

are you assuming all of us non-wavers are miserable sods?? then you're sadly mistaken. what cheers us up is the people who wave and we don't wave back - we always have a laugh wondering what's going through their minds and what they're calling us......:roflmto:

it's not a question of rudeness, it's not a question of being uncaring - we just do not see the point. simple as. we're all different and we should cherish that fact alone.

drive safely

There are two completely different explanations not that any are needed, goes to show in this world of web communication you are never aware of what goes on beyond the keyboard.

I shall continue to wave, and leave it to the other motorhomes whether just to laugh at me and think silly sod.

Or in the Yoriks and the countless others who don't wave, oh well not today.

That said to those who do wave back, :thanks:

Fatbuddah and Yorick, I have no doubt that if you met on a narrow road somewhere soon, and spotted a Funster sticker in the others windscreen, you'd wave. Though whats the point:Doh:

That is a lie. I do wave, as often as everybody else, but not when I am not feeling unwell.

And I still say it's wrong to judge folk who choose not to wave.

Everybody has a choice.

It's not nice that you feel that you need to put me down. I do wave, as often as everybody else, but not when I am not feeling unwell.

But not everybody wants to wave and they shouldn't be berated for it.

Yorick, no one is putting you down. If you are too unwell to wave then of course no one would berate you for not doing so. This is a debate about waving and why people choose to do so or not but not if they are well enough to do so.
I do hope you are well enough to wave right now

My point exactly Yorick, your perception of what I meant is completely different than what I meant to convey, as I said there is a lot more behind a keyboard that we don't actually see.

We always wave.

But that is just because you are all such beautiful people.
