I have decided to purchase a LWB Renault Master van from one of my customers and have it converted. Do any members know of an insurance company who specialise in cover whilst the vehicle is in the process of being converted?
I have tried straight forward cover but they will not believe the mileage given as 500. Most
are coming back with lottery numbers.
Many thanks in advance for your help.

W have a Merc 709 self build in the family. It has been insured with NFU [National farmers Union ] since we built it, about 10yrs ago. Give them a try.

I used Camptons when I converted my Bus. They were the only insurance company that would touch it. Brilliant.

If you stuck a Apollo Saturn V rocket on a roller skate using gaffer tape and cable ties, Adrian Flux would find an insurer for you.

    Might be a tad pricey.

I second the C&CC. They just asked for a few photos and for my Transit come in at less than £200 inc. Protected NCB and a hire car.
