hi all,

going to Holland/germany/Belgium and France for a fortnight in dear old bessacarr in August.

How easy is it to find campsites

How easy is it to find facillities such as water and chemical disposal etc

is it safe to tour, turn up, and get a campsite easily? Or do I bookmin advance.

Do I need any reference books?

Cheers.

All depends which areas you are going to. Any coastal places in August, I would book. If they have any pitches left. Again, if you want anything with a swimmingpool, I would book that and any smaller campsites, I would turn up but have a plan B in mind.
It is all safe to travel to and I don't think you'll get beaten up by a wooden clog !!! :winky:
