In my 96 Duetto the sink cold tap runs whenever the pump is on, regardless of tap position. I am pretty sure that this is a pressure demand system rather than microswitch and therfore the problem is a failed tap seal requiring a replacement of the combined tap unit.
How on earth do I access the rear of the sink? There are no removable panels on the inside that I can identify. Do I have to cut out the wooden back to the under-sink locker or is there a way I can access from outside - perhaps via a fridge vent? What do the black side panels actually cover - are they just decorative or are there hidden access panels - because of the sealant required to replace them I don't want to remove unless this is the way into the back of the sink.
Hope to hear from someone who knows soon.
