Swift have put a junction box in the roof of my Bessacarr E582 and I've connected the solar cables to this. Inside I have connected these wires to the solar controller. Next I have to connect the 12v out to the EC450 and the wiring diagram says to use P14.

The problem? There's already a Brown/Blue wire already connected to P14.

I'm guessing that this legacy i.e. the wiring loom is universal, a bit outdated, and this brown/orange cable goes nowhere in particular.

So do I unplug this and wire in 12v + & - from the solar controller?
