Hope somebody has an answer!

We're new to motor homing and bought an Autotrail Mohawk this year.
When we're connected up to 230v site power, the amp reading on the panel over the habitation door for the Leisure batteries reduces to eventually zero.
Is this correct?
I thought the battery would get charged and should increase not decrease

Guidance gratefully received.

Amp reduce to zero when the battery is charged, can't get more in.

Volts should increase to 13.5V or more.

Well thanks for that hilldweller - I thought I understood electrics!
Yes, volts are fine.
I obviously have a lot to learn.

Now then, that joining fee........ seems like it'll be a good idea!
