Compass Suntor - What is the valve for ? (1 Viewer)

I have just bought a 2008 Compass Suntor motor home. I think we have worked most things out, but there is a yellow valve under the seating area with pipes leading
to it. I have looked through the manual and can't find anything about it. Would be really grateful if anyone can help

It's the boiler drain valve.

It sounds like the drain down 'lever' for the water system, depending on how it's been installed it could be for the whoel system, or just the boiler.

We had the sundance which is the same. Just Brownhills version.I agree, it's the boiler dump valve.
I just read it again. Do you mean the swift suntour? I haven't heard of the compass suntour.

Sorry for late reply yes it's the swift suntour.

Agreed, its the automatic boiler dump valve.
Temperature drops below 4° (?) and the valve opens and dumps all your water.
