Hi,
I have a problem in that when the ignition is turned off the cab battery goes flat in a few days, if I put a meter in series with the battery there is a current draw. If I take the fuse out of the camper van labelled VEH the current drops. I have also noticed that with the ignition on (engine off) the fridge 12v light is on. I think this should only be on when the engine is running?
I suspect that the charging relay is stuck so it thinks the engine is running.
Firstly - anyone know where the relay is? (it's a 2005 Peugeot Boxer chassis.
or anyone have any other ideas? I have thought about missing the fuse out and installing a new, independent, split charging relay (£25 on Ebay)

How much current showing ?
I think the light is on all the time, but not the 12V cooling part.
Find the problem, don't try and guess it.
Sometime the split charge relay is right next to the battery together with a fuse, an obvious addition. But sometimes it can be on a control unit.

If you don't have a handbook you will find one Here. Scroll down to motorhome-handbook.pdf for 2005.

The AUX/VEH switch dealt with on page 31 should always be in the Aux position, except in emergency, because it will drain the vehicle battery.

There is a wiring diagram on page 71.
