Well it's been a few weeks since I found this incredibly informative site and after viewing endless MHs, both new and used, the deposit is down! We collect in 2 weeks and ended up going for used. I listened to all the incredibly useful comments, bought the buying a used motorhome book and read numerous forums on here which all helped us come to make the choice we did. AND we stuck to our budget too. I'm sooooo excited. Thank you everyone. I'm sure we are about to start a fabulous adventure

We've gone for a Hobby Toskana with a transverse bed and large lounge. After much research and viewings, it became clear that the lounge area was v impt as was having a garage. MTPLM was important too as we have electric bikes. Fingers crossed the excitement will last.
