Well our last trial of buying our first mh was stollen from under our noses (someone offered more and got it without the owner giving us a chance) but now we are looking at a 1999 Swift Kon-tiki with about 51,000 miles on the clock)

Does anyone have anything I need to know about them (things to watch out for, problems etc..).

Thanks for your help

many many years! since I was a kid
check VERY closely for damp, especially around the roof. I recomend you buy a cheap damp meter for under £10, as it can save you thousands of pounds and untold stress

If you don't have a damp meter move all the cushions and look in all cupboards. Even behind any drawers you can pull right out--you want to see every wall.

I looked at one for sale and moved just one cushion--the wall was black with mould. Ditto the other side. And the dealer tried to look really surprised.........
